In addition to casting, individual components and assemblies made of refractory metals such as titanium, niobium, molybdenum and tantalum are part of our delivery range. Products made from titanium or pure niobium are used especially in areas with high chemical pollution.
Titanium has a high level of corrosion resistance because the material forms an oxide layer that effectively protects against incipient corrosion, for example from chemicals. By adding alloys such as palladium, the properties can be further positively influenced.
Typical products are anode segments for pickling systems. For liquid-carrying products such as nozzle plates or nozzle pipes, 99.9% pure niobium is used.
